We deliver our high‑quality, fully‑adapted PE curriculum using the GetSet4PE scheme. Teachers plan and adapt lessons to ensure all pupils, including those with SEND, can participate, progress and enjoy physical activity across the year.
Swimming is a statutory part of the National Curriculum, and all schools must provide swimming instruction in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. At Churcham, we teach swimming in Years 3, 4 and 5 during the Spring term. Depending on the length of the term, pupils receive 10–12 lessons, each lasting 45 minutes.
