Class 2

Hello and welcome to Class 2

Welcome to Class 2's 2024-2025 class page. Our vision in Class 2 is: 'learning, respecting and growing together as a whole school family'. Our values are: 'Friendship, respect, trust and truthfulness'.

Miss Deackes and Mr Kemp are the teachers in Class 2 for Year 5 and 6 and Mrs Dodd teaches Year 3 and 4. We have a few members of staff who also support and help out in Class 2: Miss Tippins (TP), Miss Muirhead (TP) and Miss Daniels (SENCO).

We have children in Y3,4,5,and 6 in this class, and we like to work together and help each other; that's the great thing about our mixed aged class! However, all of our lessons are catered for our specific needs and year groups. On our class page, you will find a range of useful websites to support your learning for Maths and English. Please also visit and interact with us on Class Dojo where you will get regular updates on what we will be learning over the course of a week as well as some lovely photos of pupils engaging with their learning!

Some of the year 6 pupils had the following to say about Class 2:

Omega – “The adults in Class 2 are really helpful, supportive, understanding and really nice and caring!”

Jacob – “The lessons are fun and enjoyable and really help us to learn!”

Leah – “Teachers are really good at tweaking lessons to help everyone understand and provide pupils with the support they need.”

Jerzie – “Everyone is kind and understands that we all have different personalities, likes and dislikes and different feelings. You can really be yourself in Class 2.”

Leah – “Everyone in Class 2 listens to each other, and helps them to accomplish their goals and challenges.”
